    1. If you read Steve Baxter's Voyage, it'll show we could have been on Mars by the mid-80s using tweaked Apollo era hardware.

  2. I think we should take more good care of our home.Exploration is a built in prerogative to our species but if we won't take care of it we won't be able to have a base from which we can send our species in space.Terraforming is still in the future, as many other things.
