Happy Birthday to Me


53rd birthday present from my wife. Thanks to the nice people in PMT in Bristol who helped me try a variety of Strats before settling on this lovely specimen. I'm a lucky chap!

      Elite. I don't deserve such a lovely thing, but my wife can be very persuasive... anyway, it's a nice companion for my Tele, which I've had since 2008.

    Happy Birthday sir! I am currently reading Century Rain and thoroughly, thoroughly enjoying it. Just finished chapter 10 and re-reading it as I loved all the theories on the structures inside the hyperweb.

    Beautiful guitar, I like your choice of colors. I imagine "Josie" will sound great on it (not that it wouldn't on your tele, but newly acquired instruments always have a certain magic to them).
