Thank you to all who braved the heat to meet me at Cowbridge Library, it was lovely to see you all and I could have chatted for hours. Thanks also to Phil and Charlotte at the library for a most enjoyable event.

Sorry to hijack, but thought I'd let you know that a Singaporean mathc ore/metal band has called one of their songs "Beyond the Aquila Rift." Not sure if you want to congratulate 'em--or sue :-)

You may have heard; I saw this on Michael Swanwick's blog, who mentioned it because they also took inspiration from the Love Death & Robots episode based on his story "The Very Pulse of the Machine"
So they may not have read your story, but you can bet they watched it.
Being the kind of person who could possibly enjoy a mathcore/metal crossover band, I might like to hear the song, just because it's based on one of my favorite sci-fi stories ever, but I'd want to make sure that aligned with the author's wishes, if you know what I mean.
Thanks, it's fine, you can't copyright titles anyway, and it's not as if I haven't used a title or two in my stories.
